Pretty much everyone around the globe new who Grumpy Cat was, and there have been many cats who have come along since that late kitty held the throne for the most disapproving cat of all. For a female tabby kitty named Kitzia, AKA Grumpy Kitzia, she’s steadily becoming a cat who is adored for her look of permanent disapproval.
Everyone, Meet Grumpy Kitzia!
Kitzia’s cat mom, Viktoriia Otdielnova, is a professional photographer. She is originally from Ukraine, and together she and Kitzia live in Orlando, Florida. When she’s not busy taking photos for her day job, she enjoys capturing cute images of her kitty with a permanent scowl. Initially Viktoriia was reluctant to make a Instagram account for her unique looking kitty, knowing how negative some people can be. But she hoped that maybe her cat’s photos could make people smile. She says that, “I realized if Kitzia can make at least 1 person a day smile, than this page would make sense.”
I know I can say for myself that I’m certainly happy she decided to share her cute cat with the world!
And don’t let the look of discontent fool you, Grumpy Kitzia is actually playful and sweet. And when it comes to personality, she has loads of it! Viktoriia started sharing photos of her kitty on social media in 2018, and steadily she’s gained a following from people who just love looking at her cute expressions.

And with this little face, Kitzia even makes chilling out look sassy!
It’s hard not to make comparisons to the late Tardar Sauce, and there are a few other “grumpy” cats out there trying to become the successor to the Grumpy Cat thrown. Of all of them, I’d have to say that Kitzia might very well be the grumpiest cat in all the land. She even makes the cute cat bread loaf look purrfectly miserable.
And while she definitely has a face that could cast a thousand memes, Kitzia is sweet underneath her tough exterior. She loves her human and cuddling with her is high on Kitzia’s list of favorite things to do.
